On October 18th, the first 50000DWT MR tanker "MUGELLO" built by our group’s New Yangzi Shipbuilding for shipowner Evalend, departed from the shipyard wharf and delivered for operation .

The vessel measures 183m in length overall, 174.5m in length between perpendiculars，32.2m in moulded width, 19.1m in moulded depth, design draft of 11.0 m, and scantling draft of 13.30m. Equipped with an open-loop U type scrubber, the vessel meets the EEDI Phase III standards, making it an energy-efficient, environmentally friendly, and highly competitive green tanker with excellent port adaptability. The vessel cut the first plate in early October, 2023 and was built in accordance with the rules and regulations of class LR.

On October 16th, "MUGELLO" was signed and delivered. There are 6 vessels in this series, and the construction of the other five vessels will also be carried out in an orderly manner by New Yangzi Shipbuilding.
