Recently, Jiangsu Yangzi Mitsui Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. and Meghna group, one of the largest groups in Bangladesh, have successfully signed four contracts for the construction of 66000 DWT bulk carriers through video link and cloud contracting.Based on the design of Mitsui E & s Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., the ship was built in Jiangsu Yangzi Mitsui Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.It is planned to be completed and delivered from the second half of 2022 to the first half of 2023.

The ship type is a 66000 DWT bulk carrier designed by Mitsui E & s for environmental protection and low fuel consumption.At present, Mitsui E & S has delivered more than 20 ships. The ship is about 199.99m in length, 192.90m in length between two columns, 36.00m in width, 18.45m in depth, 11.20m in design draught and 12.92m in structural draft. It is classed as Japan classification society and flies Bengal flag.
