Yuanlin Rehabilitation Hospital is a non-profit private medical institution wholly-owned by Jiangsu Yuanlin Charity Foundation. It is a new charity field opened up after Yuanlin University for the Elderly and the “Guangmingxing” cataract rehabilitation project. It is not only the first large-scale rehabilitation hospital organized by charitable organizations in China, but also the main public welfare platform for Jiangsu Yuanlin Charity Foundation to give gifts to the society and serve the people of Jiangyin. Since May 1st, 2019, the Yuanlin Rehabilitation Hospital has been put into operation. The citizens do not have to travel long distances and get together, and they can enjoy the medical resources of the tertiary rehabilitation hospital at their doorstep.

As a donor of the project, the chairman Mr. Ren Yuanlin, is very concerned about the progress of the project. Since the Jiangyin Yuanlin Rehabilitation Hospital started construction on February 28, 2017, he has visited the site many times to hear the progress of the project and the difficulties encountered during the construction. Over the past two years, all parties have overcome many difficulties such as tight time, heavy tasks and complicated construction conditions. Finally they successfully completed the project and enabled the rehabilitation hospital to be put into operation on schedule. At present, the rehabilitation hospital has been officially approved as a medical institution for medical and agricultural insurance in Jiangyin City.
